Mr. Ferber has over
35 years of experience in
planning and engineering in Colorado, Wyoming, and South
Dakota. This experience includes nearly three years as
the Pennington County, South Dakota, Planning Director.
Mr. Ferber is registered as a Professional Engineer in
Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Mr. Ferber is also
registered as a professional Land Surveyor in South
Dakota. Dan spent over seven years in regional and
community planning prior to engineering school
and holds degrees in both Civil Engineering and
Economics. This unique combination of education and
experience allows Mr. Ferber the ability to focus on
project details without sacrificing big picture clarity.
As President of Ferber Engineering Company, Mr. Ferber
provides overall management of the company. Mr. Ferber
assists in identification and evaluation of alternatives
for each project undertaken by the company. Mr. Ferber also provides final
project review to ensure completeness, accuracy, and
clarity.

Mr. Muck is a partner in Ferber Engineering Company,
Inc with over 15 years of experience in water resources
engineering. He received his Master of Science degree in
Civil Engineering from SDSM&T in 1995. Mr. Muck is
registered as a Professional Engineer in Nebraska,
Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. Mr. Muck is also
registered as a Professional Land Surveyor in South
Dakota. Mr. Muck is a Certified Floodplain Manager
through the Association of Floodplain Managers. He is the GIS Manager for Ferber
Engineering Company, with duties that include
utilization of new techniques for water resources
planning, digital floodplain mapping and other GIS
related projects including land use mapping and project
development. Mr. Muck also manages environmental
permitting for the company. Mr. Muck has completed
projects in South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana, and Wyoming.

Mr. Van Beek is a partner in Ferber Engineering
Company, Inc with over ten years of experience in
civil engineering. Mr. Van Beek graduated from SDSM&T in
1998 with a BS in Civil Engineering. Mr. Van Beek is
registered as a Professional Engineer in South Dakota.
Since joining the firm his focus has mainly been in the
public transportation and public utilities fields. He is responsible for all transportation and
utility projects including street geometric design,
alternative analysis, water and sewer design, plans and
specification preparation and bidding. Mr. Van Beek is
adept at operating the Eagle Point/AutoCAD design
platforms utilized by Ferber Engineering Company.
